Our Story

Merit Ford is locally owned and managed by Joel Mryglod. Originally from Weyburn, Joel moved to Carlyle in 1995, where his family owned and operated the local Dairy Queen for more than 20 years.

After completing his Commerce degree in Victoria, British Columbia, Joel and his wife returned to Carlyle to raise their family and continue building their future in the community.

Living in rural Saskatchewan gives us a firsthand understanding of how important dependable transportation is. Your vehicle gets you to work, takes the kids to the rink, gets you to appointments and makes those weekends at the lake possible.

That connection between vehicles and everyday life inspired our slogan, Merit Ford Drives Life.

Every pre-owned vehicle is fully inspected and detailed, and qualifying vehicles with less than 200,000 kilometres include a 30-day or 1,000-kilometre Powertrain Warranty. Extended warranty options are also available.

We also carry genuine Ford parts and accessories and can assist with parts for your own automotive projects.
